Energy in this day and age is the most critical resource. However, most countries including India are acutely affected by the shortage of electricity for domestic and commercial use. On the other hand, the demand for electricity has shot up due to increased agricultural activities and The rapid growth of residential and industria] business sectors. In order to fulfill this demand more no. of power generation plants are necessary but unfortunately, the existing power plants are either running under capacity, are not functional, or have stopped operations due to insufficient supply of coal & fuel. As the power requirements are going up, maintaining power plants is becoming increasingly difficult due to the dearth of coal. In the coming years, there will be an acute paucity of coal as it will become dearer and its availability scarcer. Therefore, the world is veering toward renewable and sustainable sources of energy like sunlight converted to solar energy which is abundant and inexhaustible. Govt. of India is putting in a lot of effort in this direction and looking for various solutions to convert solar energy into power and we are very sure this will become one of fhe most revolutionary and efficient substitutes for fuel-based energy this technology will be rapidly implemented through various schemes. Ministry of new & renewable energy (Govt of India) has initiated a program for increasing the share of installed capacity of electri¢é power from non-fossil fuel sources to 40% for the year 2030. The cabinet has approved in May 2019 vide circular mentioned above( F. No. 32/645/2017-SPV Division) scaling up solar power from 20000 MW to 100000 MW by 2022.
